Leslie Costley

Group Drumming, Music + Movement (pre-K + caregiver)

Leslie Costley is currently a certified Pre-K - 5 Music Teacher in Denver, Colorado. Originally, her dream was to be a band director at the secondary level, but reality had other plans. In her pursuit of paying her bills, Leslie began teaching elementary music in 2009, and in the process, realized she had actually landed her dream job. Now, she can’t imagine a life doing anything else. 

Leslie graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, and received her Orff Certification from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her focus in the program was on student-created music, and helping students see themselves as, and grow into their own, independent composers and musicians.

Class taught by Leslie:

Group Drumming (all ages): Mondays, 5:00-5:50pm

Music + Movement (pre-K + caregiver): Saturdays, 10:00-10:45am
