Sol Aldinger

Development & Marketing Coordinator, Art Instructor

Sol Aldinger is a genderfluid, neurodivergent, abstract surrealist painter. Their art explores synchronicity, the internal image of self, and the relationship between our bodies and our surroundings. They often push the boundaries on traditional notions of a “painting” through their incorporation of writing, movement, and found object assemblage.

Sol is an active part of the Denver community as an artist, activist, and youth mentor. Outside of New Cottage Arts, they also work to empower Denver youth at the Clyfford Still Museum, and Redline Contemporary Art Center. They often draw on their own experience of neurodivergence and CPTSD while teaching with trauma informed practices, exploring emotional regulation and social justice.
