A Week to Remember: Celebrating Spring Break 2025 at New Cottage Arts

This March 24-28, 2025, New Cottage Arts came alive with creativity, rhythm, and joy as we welcomed 15 incredible young artists for our 2025 Spring Break Camp, themed “Diversity in Our World.” Over the course of one unforgettable week, our students explored cultures, stories, and identities through music, movement, and visual arts — all in a donation-based, inclusive environment that honored every voice and every vision.

For six hours each day, our five passionate instructors guided students through a wide range of creative sessions, from group percussion and comics telling stories of community and belonging, to outdoor games, movement workshops, and mixed-media collage-portraits.

The week concluded with a heartfelt final performance on March 28, where students shared their art, music, and reflections with family, friends, and community members. The performance was a vibrant celebration of creativity, courage, and cultural richness — and a reminder of what’s possible when young people are given space to express themselves.
